CES Parents, please return the AMI Days 1 & 2 assignments TOMORROW. Students who have completed those days' work will be counted as present for the two days. Students who do not return work will be counted as ABSENT for those two days. Call the school with questions.
Caruthersville School District WILL be in session tomorrow, Wednesday, January 29. Parents, please keep your student home if they are showing any symptoms, and contact your school.
Due to continued staff illness, Caruthersville School District will not be in session Tuesday, Jan. 28. This will NOT be an AMI day. No additional work will be sent. Students should make sure they have completed work for AMI days 1 & 2. We plan to be in session on Wednesday.
Any students that were not in session on Thursday that did not pick up work Friday morning can pick up work tomorrow from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Due to continued illness, Caruthersville School District will not be in session Monday, Jan. 27. Students will need to complete AMI Day 2 work. Elem and MS offices will be open from 10:00-12:00 and HS from 8:00-12:00 for students that need their work.
Many have called asking what an AMI Day is. AMI=Alternative Method of Instruction. This means that school will not be in session, but students will have work sent home to do for that day. Students will need to bring completed work back on the next school day in order to be counted for attendance. If no work is returned, student will be counted absent for that AMI day.
Due to increased illness among staff and students, Friday January 24 will be an AMI day for Caruthersville School District. Students will need to complete the work given to avoid adding a make-up day to the school year. Offices will be open from 8:00-12:00 in the morning for anyone that has questions or needs work. For anyone sick, please call your school and work can be sent virtually. The School Based Health Clinic is planning on being open.

It's that time of year when illness is on the rise! If your child feels under the weather, we invite you to use the Caruthersville School Health Clinic. They provide primary & urgent care services. You can schedule an appointment or walk in! This service is for Kindergarten - 12th grade students. Please take a look at the flyer for more information.
