Ms. Kayla's 8th grade science classes have been talking about chemical change. Friday they mixed vinegar and baking soda and documented the changes they saw when the two were mixed.










Ms. Kayla's 7th grade science classes have been learning about human body systems. Friday they completed different task and documented which body systems work together to complete the tasks.

Fall Picture Retake Info


Information for the girls basketball game at Cape Central on Tuesday, November 12th:
*Cape JH games/matches start at 4:30. Gates will open at 4:00 PM.
Admission: $3.00 for Adults. $2.00 for Students (K-12th Grade). Senior Citizens 65 and over - Free
No weapons or prohibited items. Spectators may be screened for weapons or prohibited items prior to entry.
No bags allowed except CLEAR stadium bags
No exit and re-entry. Once inside the gym, if you leave the gates, you will not be permitted back in
No students admitted 6th grade or below without a parent or guardian present.

7th Grade monthly PBIS Reward. The monthly cash winner with no office referrals or minors for the month was Will Jones sponsored by Ms. Stephanie McHugh. The 8th grade winner was Madalyn Hudgens sponsored by Stephanie McHugh. Thank you, Ms. McHugh, for your support! Students enjoyed a movie at the Caruthersville Library with popcorn and a drink. The 7th grade won an extra recess for having the least amount of office referrals and minors for the month.

This is just a reminder that the Fall Festival is from 4:00 to 6:00 this afternoon. Children in 5th grade and below may purchase an armband to participate in the games, face painting, bounce house, and hayride. Concessions and the dunking booth are available at an additional cost. Students above 5th grade and students who were absent in ISS or OSS today are not allowed to attend. See flyer for information.
