safety
Due to an overabundance of caution, stemming from a social media threat, Caruthersville School District will not be in session tomorrow September 17. The safety of our students and staff will always remain our number one priority. We will continue to work with our police department in this investigation.

Ms. Shonda’s art class is doing amazing on their unconventional art projects. These students creative minds are taking risk and producing results using materials best known as “junk”. Notice how one student uses salt and water color paint to create the illusion of fur on the rabbit. So cool!!!!

Ms. Shonda’s 7/8 grade art class has learned what conventional and unconventional art materials are. Students can show they are willing to take risk in pursuing ideas to create art. Here you see students beginning to work on their projects. Unconventional art project using materials you normally wouldn’t use.  Very excited to see what they come up with.
