Merideth teach of the year

Mrs. Jana Merideth was honored on the 31st of January 2010 by VFW District 15 as their High School Teacher of the Year. The event was held at VFW Post 3838 in Cape Girardeau, where district Voice of Democracy and Patriot Pen winners were also recognized. Mrs. Merideth was honored by her exemplary dedication to patriotism and patriotic ideas as evidenced by her nomination by her peers and selection by VFW Post 4680, Caruthersville. VFW District 15 includes all the Veterans of Foreign Wars posts from and including Cape Girardeau, Jackson, Marble Hill all the way south to Kennett, Hayti and Caruthersville.
